Crimp Stop Placing Instrument

With the growing usage of crimp-stops, Orthopli has manufactured an instrument that places crimp-stops with ease. The edges and tips are blunted for strength and designed not to cut the crimpable stop. The offset tip allows easy access in both the posterior and anterior region. Place the beaks of the instrument over the crimp and simply squeeze the instrument. The plier will place an upper and lower crimp-notch to secure the crimp-stop to the archwire.

• Secure a crimp-stop in place by one simple squeeze on the plier.
• Place a crimp-notch on the upper and lower portion of the crimp-stop to secure it to the archwire.
• The offset beak offers easy access during placement in both the anterior and posterior region.
• Offset beak also creates more visibility during use.
• Both beaks are manufactured with a hardened steel insert for strength and also helps eliminate wear.
