Arch Contouring & Forming Plier (standard)

Designed for forming and contouring round and rectangular archwire without torque. The arch is approx. 7.5 mm wide and is capable of bending and contouring wire from .012" up to .040". The arch shape is determined by the operator and the amount of pressure that is applied when forming the arch. Most important is all edges are beveled and smooth which will eliminate nicking the wire during use.

• The outside edges are beveled creating a smooth arch without nicking the wire.
• One side of the beak contains an upper arch that fits into a concave pocket which creates the arch.
• Capable of contouring an arch on round and rectangular wire ranging from .012" to .040".
• The plier measures 7.5mm wide along with a smooth inside working surface.
• Arch shape can be larger or smaller and this is determined by the amount of pressure applied during operation.
• Smooth inside beaks help eliminate torque in the wire when contouring the arch.
