Composite Adhesive Removing Plier

Orthopli has developed what is considered the most efficient method for composite and adhesive removal. The lower beak is manufactured with a hardened inserted steel tip for strength to help extend the sharpness of the adhesive removing edge. After the bracket is removed this instrument is designed to easily remove a majority of the composite material by lightly scraping the material away before high speed finishing.

• Simply remove composite and adhesive material after the bracket is removed.
• The lower beak is thinned down to a fine tip and a sharpened edge is placed at the tip.
• Hardened inserted tip that is placed on the lower beak to ensure a sharp adhesive removal edge.
• Hardened inserts also help extend the sharpness of the cutting edge.
• The concave lower beak can easily be sharpened by the operator.
• Included is a replaceable cushion peg tip (097-LT) and a clear cushion tube (095-T) on the upper beak for patient comfort.
• The operator selects the cushion tip they feel most comfortable using.
• Tips are dry-heat sterilizable and autoclavable. Replaceable pads (097-LT peg tip design) or (095-T clear tube design).
