Manufactured on an all stainless steel forging along with a carbide inserted tips that are places on the inside working surface of the tip. The thin pieces of carbide are machined with cross serrations ensuring a positive grip along with a longer lasting plier. Howe pliers function with a large range of versatility when used chairside; is mainly used for the placement and removal of arch wires. The shape of the tip remains thin and has a 3mm round head.
- Long straight beaks offer excellent reach in the posterior and anterior region.
- Beaks are inserted with a thin carbide insert that increases the holding grip.
- Carbide inserts extend the life of the plier and hold their serrations longer.
- Manufactured with a 3mm round tip for utility bends and general use.
- To be used for cinching, the placement and removal of arch wires interiorly.
- The inside of the working surface is cross serrated to eliminate slippage during use.
- The rear of the beak is gapped and beveled so it will not pinch the patient's cheek and lips during use.
- Extended beaks create excellent visibility and can keep the operator's hands a further distance from the patients mouth.
