Lingual Arch Forming and Closing Plier

Forming lingual arches is a quick and easy bend when using this particular instrument. Most important both beaks are manufactured with a hardened insert to permit longer wear and afford greater accuracy. Two grooves are machined close to the beak to allow a tight bend. Three additional grooves are placed at the rear of the beak to close the bend tight to fit properly into the lingual sheath.

• Form lingual arches and double bend wires to be placed in lingual sheaths.
• Both beaks are manufactured with hardened inserts.
• Hardened inserts increase the instruments strength along with greater accuracy.
• Two small grooves are machined at the tip (for a tight double bend).
• Three large grooves are machined on the lower beak to tightly squeeze the double bend tight.
• Lower groove measures .030", .036", and .025" on each side.
• When used properly the double bend should snap into the lingual sheath.
