- Manufactured with a double spring which allows the mathieu to open and close with no friction of the handle.
- The standard tip is the widest design of the mathieus and is capable of placing elastics and tying ligature wire.
- Carbide inserted tips are finely cross serrated and provides a strong grip eliminating slippage when tying ligatures and placing elastics.
- A locking mechanism is at the rear of the handle and can very easily be locked and unlocked with a simple squeeze of the handle.
- The joint area is rounded which allows the operator to easily spin the instrument while ligating.
- Designed with a standard handle size measuring 5" in length along with a stainless steel mathieu forging.
- Capable of being autoclaved and dry heat sterilized.
