- Manufactured with a double spring which allows the mathieu to open and close with no friction of the handle.
- This thin tip mathieu is ground down to the finest point and is excellent for placing elastics in tight areas along with the occasional tying of ligature wire.
- The inside working surface is machined with finely cross serrated beaks which provide a strong grip and eliminate slippage when tying ligatures and placing elastics.
- A locking mechanism is at the rear of the handle and can very easily be locked and unlocked with a simple squeeze of the handle.
- The joint area is rounded which allows the operator to easily spin the instrument while ligating.
- Designed with a standard handle size measuring 5 ½" in length along with a stainless steel mathieu forging.
- Capable of being autoclaved and dry heat sterilized.
