Aligner Opening (Enlarging) Plier

This aligner opening plier is manufactured for two reasons. The first reason is if an aligner is not seating properly in position. This instrument will open (enlarge) the aligner in that one area to help the aligner seat properly. The second reason is if a dimple is placed on the aligner. This instrument can open space allowing the tooth to rotate. No heat is necessary to the plier or the aligner while using this plier.

• Creates an open space on the aligner with a simple squeeze of the instrument.
