Band Remover (Short Beaks)

Designed with both upper and lower beaks shorter in overall length for the doctor who prefers a shorter beak. The short beaks create more leverage when removing bands. Hardened inserts are placed on the lower beak which adds to a lasting sharp edge when removing bands and also helps eliminate slippage during use. There is a replaceable cushion pad included that is dry-heat sterilizable and auto-clavable.

• Both beaks are short creating more leverage for band removal.
• Lower beak is manufactured with a hardened steel insert to eliminate slippage during use and extend the sharpness of the cutting edge.
• The lower portion of the tip meets in the center of the replacement pad.
• Lower beak is tapered on the sides and ground down to a small flat tip.
• The tapered sides allow the operator to remove bands by using the side of the instrument when cheek expansion is limited.
• Upper beak has our replaceable cushion tip. (Catalog # 097-LT (pictured) or 095-T clear tube).
• Cushion tips are a force fit and are dry heat sterilizable and auto-clavable.
