Band Slitting Plier (Ligature Cutter Shape)

Designed to cut off a band when a traditional band remover is unable to remove the band. This instrument can cut the upper or lower band for removal with ease and minimal discomfort to the patient. Hardened steel inserted tips offer a non-slip grip when cutting bands. The beaks are at 15° offset angle to allow easy access in the posterior region with good visibility during use.

• Occasionally bands are difficult to remove; however, this band slitter will cut the band for easy removal.
• Both beaks are notched at the tip and ground to a sharp cutting edge.
• Simply grip an anterior or posterior band and squeeze the instrument closed.
