Bird Beak Bending Plier with Arch Former

Cleverly designed, this combination instrument is two instruments into one. As a manufacture, Orthopli Corporation is able to combine a bird beak bending instrument along with an arch former creating one unique plier. This combination allows the operator to form or bend arch wire and retainer wire at the tip and then create or modify the arch form with the built in arch contouring portion at the base of the instrument. Being able to perform 2-steps with one instrument is a time saver and cost savings.

• Both round and square beak measure .036" at the tip and are recommended for retainer adjustment or heavy wire bending.
• The added arch-former is located at the rear of the beak and is capable of contouring a smooth arch on all arch wire (round or rectangular) and lab wire up to .O36".
• Hardened steel inserted tips are soldered at the tip to increase the strength of the instrument and help eliminate slippage when forming or bending wire.
• The tip measures 5/8" in length and the round portion of the beak is round the whole 5/8" offering many helix sixes when bending.
• All stainless steel box joint construction accommodated by a hardened steel inserted tip for strength.
• Recommended for retainer adjustment cassettes when doing tray set-ups.
