Bird Beak Plier with Serrations

Measuring ½" long on both the round and square beak this instrument has an added feature of a fully serrated square beak and a closing groove (series of fine holding grooves). The serrations create a firm non-slip grip when bending and forming retainers. The short stubby hardened steel inserted beaks offer strength when bending, adjusting retainers and also creates a stronger longer lasting instrument.

• This bird beak is machined with a series of serrations (grooves) on the inside portion of the square side along with a closing groove
• Serrations create a firm non-slip grip on the arch wire and retainer wire.
• Both round and square beaks measure .036" at the tip and are recommended for retainer adjustment or heavy wire bending.
• Hardened steel inserted tips are soldered at the tip to increase the strength of the instrument and help eliminate slippage when forming or bending wire.
• The tip measures ½" in length and the round portion of the beak is round the whole ½" offering many helix sixes when bending.
• Bend and form all arch wire round and rectangular along with retainer wire up to .O36"
• All stainless steel box joint construction accommodated by a hardened steel inserted tip for strength.
