Crimpable Ball Hook Placing Plier

Specifically designed for placement of crimpable ball hooks and power hooks. Machined to fit all popular brand crimpable hooks. The instrument secures the hook then the operator places the hook on the desired location of the archwire. By slightly squeezing the plier it puts a dimple at the base of the hook to secure it to the archwire. Both beaks are manufactured with hardened inserts that will help eliminate slippage during use.

• Place crimpable ball hook on any location of the archwire with one simple squeeze.
• Beaks are machined to fit Orthopli and all brands of Ball hooks with a universal slot.
• The instrument secures the ball hook in place prior to placement.
• When the ball hook is in place simply squeeze the instrument to secure the hook.
• The lower beak will place a notch in the base which locks it onto the archwire.
• Both beaks are manufactured with a hardened steel insert for strength and also helps eliminate wear.
