Face Bow Plier with Grooved Tip

Constructed on the same forging as the # O68. This is an excellent face bow, head gear and lab instrument. Both the tip and cutting edge are manufactured with hardened steel inserts, capable of bending, cutting, and forming loops on the inner and outer bow of a head gear. The inserted beaks at the front have 3 deepened grooves that securely lock in the wire when bending (elimination slippage). The beak is thin and round to form a hook on the outer bow after it is cut and shortened.

• Designed to cut and bend face bow wire up to .080" dia.
• Hardened insert increases the strength of the cutting edge and provides an easier cut during use.
• Cut and shorten the inner and outer bow with little effort.
• 3- Holding grooves are machined at the tip of the plier to eliminate slippage during use.
• By placing the face bow in any groove it will lock the wire in place for adjustment.
• The first groove closest to the tip is used to place a new hook on the face bow or head gear after it is cut.
