Flush Cut and Hold Distal End Cutter (Standard Handle)

Orthopli Corporation's most popular instrument sold is the Flush Distal end Cutter. Flush distal end cutters were originally patented, designed and manufactured by Orthopli Corporation. It permits the operator to cut and hold the excess arch wire flush to the buccal tube leaving no protrusions which will irritate the patient. At the same time the built in holding spring will hold the cut piece of wire preventing the wire from flying into tissue. Having an actual cutting edge, this flush distal end cutter is capable of cutting round, rectangular, twist and braided arch wire with ease up to .025" and .021" x .028". Both beaks are manufactured with hardened steel inserts which increase the cutting strength and extends the sharpness of the cutting edge.

• Manufactured on an all stainless steel box joint standard handle forging measuring approximately 5" in total length.
