Hard Wire Cutter (Standard Handle) (15° Angle)

The tip of this hard wire cutter is manufactured with a 15° offset angle at the beak. This angle is the preference of the operator. The 15° offset in some cases offers easy access in tight spaces along with increased visibility during use. This hard wire cutter can be used chair side and interiorly. The cutting edge is capable of cutting round and rectangular arch wire up to .022"diameter and .021" x .025". Due to its size, it can also be used occasionally for the debanding of brackets.

• Designed on a standard handle measuring 5 1/8" in length along with a stainless steel forging.
• Both beaks are manufactured with a hardened steel inserted tip which increases the strength and extends the sharpness of the cutting edge.
• Capable of cutting round and rectangular arch wire up to .022"Diameter and .021" x .025" both chair side and interiorly.
• The cutting edge is hand crafted with a specially designed double anvil cutting edge.
• Beaks are manufactured at a 15° offset angle to their finest point offering easy anterior and posterior cutting.
• Due to the size of the standard handle the operator can use this Hard Wire cutter for the occasional debonding of brackets.
• Extend the sharpness of the cutting edge by cutting at the rear of the cutting edge where most of the strength is placed.
