Anterior Single Tooth Torquing Plier Set

Uniquely designed plier set enables the orthodontist or assistant to accurately apply a single tooth torque in a specific section of an arch wire without distortion in the remainder of the wire. Can be used on any size rectangular archwire. The double holding beak plier holds the archwire and eliminates torque from extending beyond their contact point. The single beak plier fits in the middle of the double forked plier and secures the archwire. With a simple twist of the operator's hand and with the wire secured, a single tooth torque is easily achieved. Another time saving instrument by Orthopli Corporation. No need for torquing keys.

• Capable of torquing all sizes of rectangular arch wire up to .021" x .028".
• This instrument will place a single tooth torque on an archwire with ease.
• The remaining portion of the arch wire left and right of the torqued section remain on the same plain.
• With both instruments secured on the arch wire slightly move the male instrument to achieve your proper single tooth torque.
• The inside edges of both instruments are beveled slightly to eliminate fracturing the arch wire during use.
• No need for torquing keys of different sizes. This plier set will adjust to all sizes of arch wire.
• The torqued section is 5 mm in width and can be changed upon request.
