Tweed Arch Torquing and Bending Plier (15° Angle)
Sale price

Regular price

SKU: 060-A
The beaks are offset at a 15° angle and are positioned on the side of the instrument. The offset beaks allow the operator to place torque in a rectangular arch wire without placing the instrument and hand on the inside arch. It is a preference with the offset beak, and it also offers more visibility during use. The beak opens parallel to eliminate slippage and is beveled to avoid nicking and breakage of the archwire during use.
- Beaks are offset at a 15° angle.
- Offset beaks create more visibility during use.
- When torquing the operator's hands are side by side outside the arch rather than reversed.

- Hardened inserts are placed at the tip that help eliminate slippage during use and increase the strength of the instrument.
- Recommended for torquing rectangular arch wire up to .021" x .028".
- Beaks open in a parallel holding action to help secure the arch wire during operation.
- The inside portion of the beak is a flat on flat surface.
