Flush Cut and Hold Distal End Cutter (Slim Long Handle)

This slim long handle is a popular choice flush distal end cutter for many assistants. Due to the design, it can be used for both traditional orthodontics and lingual orthodontics. The smaller head offers easy access for cutting in the lingual and posterior region. The slim long handle keeps the operators hand away from the patient's mouth when cutting offering excellent visibility. Designed to cut flush to the buccal tube and hold the cut piece of wire with a built in safety hold spring. Recommended to cut arch wire up to .022" diameter and .019" x .025" rectangular.

• Manufactured on an all stainless steel box joint standard handle forging measuring approximately 5 3/4" in total length.
• Both beaks are manufactured with a hardened steel insert for ease during cutting and also extends the sharpness of the cutting edge.
• The cutting edge hits against a flat surface which reduces stress and vibration of the arch wire during cutting which provides more comfort to the patient.
• The cutting edge being located toward the base of the tip allows the operator to cut flush to the buccal tube.
• Slim long handle offers versatile lingual and posterior access along with good visibility during use.
• The cutting edge cuts flush to the buccal tube leaving no protrusions of wire to irritate the patient.
• Built into the instruments is a stainless steel holding spring which is located above the cutting edge and holds the cut piece of wire.
• Recommended for braided wire, twist wire, round and rectangular wire up to .022" diameter or .019" x .025" rectangular.
