Flush Cut Distal End Cutter (Non-Holding)

This non-holding flush distal end cutter is utilized when posterior access is very limited. Removing the holding portion of the end cutter reduces its thickness of the tip and creating a thinner cutting beak. The operator can now cut arch wire flush to the buccal tube in areas with limited space. Most offices use a cotton-roll to hold the cut piece of wire.

• The cutting edge cuts the excess arch wire flush to the buccal tube leaving no protrusions of wire to irritate the patient.
• This instrument is a non-holding flush distal end cutter.
• Manufactured on an all stainless steel box joint standard handle forging measuring approximately 5" in total length.
• Both beaks are manufactured with a hardened steel insert for ease during cutting and also extend the sharpness of the cutting edge.
• The cutting edge hits against a flat surface which reduces stress and vibration of the arch wire during cutting which provides more comfort to the patient.
• The cutting edge being located toward the base of the tip allows the operator to cut flush to the buccal tube.
• Recommended for braided wire, twist wire, round and rectangular wire up to .025" diameter or .021" x .028" rectangular.
