Beaks are manufactured with a fine tapered round and concave beak. Excellent for bending of round and rectangular wire, affording firm grip, without nicking wire. Can be used for loop tip back and gable bends. Due to its design at the tip, it can also be used very similar to a fine nose three prong. Both beaks are manufactured with hardened steel inserts to help eliminate slippage during use which also creates a stronger longer lasting instrument.

• Both beaks measure 5/8" in length and round beak is tapered the whole length of the beak.
• The lower beak is concaved (grooved) and allows the round beak to position into the groove.
• Can be utilized for both bending and forming loops outside the mouth and also intraoral adjustments on an arch wire.
• Hardened steel inserted tips are soldered at the tip to increase the strength of the instrument and help eliminate slippage when forming or bending wire.
• Recommended for round and rectangular wire up to .025" diameter and .021" x .028".
• All stainless steel box joint construction accommodated by a hardened steel inserted tip for strength.
