SKU: 043
Manufactured with three different size barrels at the tip allowing the operator to create tight helixes without introducing any torque in the wire. The tip of the lower beak is concaved and finely serrated which both aid when bending and help create firm grip eliminating slippage. Towards the rear of the beak is a utility groove for the closing of loops. This is one of Orthopli's most fragile instruments. Make best effort to help bend the wire with your fingers taking some of the stress off the tip of the plier.
- Front barrel measures .045" diameter, middle barrel .060" diameter, and rear barrel .075" diameter.
- When forming loops on a barrel you will not introduce any torque on the wire.
- Concaved lower beak helps bend and guide the wire while bending and forming helixes.
- Serrations are machined on the concaved portion to ensure a firm grip and eliminate slippage during wire bending.
- Hardened steel inserted tips are soldered at the tip to increase the strength of the instrument and help eliminate slippage when forming or bending wire.
- Recommended for round and rectangular wire up to .025" diameter and .021" x .028".
- A closing groove is placed at the rear portion of the tip which helps when closing vertical loops.
- All stainless steel box joint construction accommodated by a hardened steel inserted tip for strength.
